Brief Project description:<\/strong><\/p>\n The goal of the Project:\u00a0 provide electronic access to information of the public authorities and increase citizen participation through the dissemination of information on e-government services. Identifying effective steps to improve e-government services usage among the population of Lviv region.<\/p>\n Key objectives of the Project: promotion of electronic services, establishing the dialogue “public authorities – community”, development of Public Information Centres network.<\/p>\n The main result – development of the Points of Access to Public Information \/ Public Information Centres network on the base of public libraries and enhancing their cooperation with governmental institutions and Polish partners, eventually improvement of the citizens access to public information.<\/p>\n Partners in the Project: Implementation period: February-June 2015.<\/p>\n Target groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n Lviv Regional Council and Regional Administration<\/em> – introduction of specific activities of “Regional development program on informatization of Lviv region for 2015-2017” with the following priorities: electronic access to public information and e-governance for citizens.<\/p>\n Public Information Centres consultants at public libraries<\/em> \u2013participation in trainings at the Regional Training Centre; testing distance courses on e-governance, monitoring skills and improvement of advisory services.<\/p>\n Heads of culture departments at District State Administration and Chairmen of village councils<\/em> – participation in district debates about the quality of e-government at the local level and participation in the regional fair-conference “Public Information Centres – as a platform for constructive dialogue between government, communities, NGOs and libraries”<\/p>\n Employees of Centres for Administrative Service Provision<\/em> – introduction of specific activities of “Regional development program on informatization of Lviv region for 2015-2017” with the following priorities: electronic interaction between public authorities, electronic services, electronic access to public information and e-governance for citizens.<\/p>\n The project is funded by the International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX) within the framework of international technical assistance programme Bibliomist – Global Libraries Ukraine<\/p>\n <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Brief Project description: The goal of the Project:\u00a0 provide electronic access to information of the public authorities and increase citizen participation through the dissemination of information on e-government services.
