Decentralization : the results of activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the VIII convocation in the field of administrative-territorial reform during March-May 2015.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n During March-May 2015 Ukrainian MP\u2019s slightly reduced activity in the field of decentralization and administrative-territorial reform. If within the first hundred days of work – from 27 November 2014 to 8 March 2015 (see our earlier report on this subject) Verkhovna Rada deputies adopted a total of five laws, adopted one bill in the first reading and registered 32 bills related to decentralization and administrative-territorial reform, from March 9 to May 24, 2015 adopted only 1 law and 3 bills in the first reading and registered 31 bills.<\/p>\n In particular, Verkhovna Rada approved and the President has signed the law \u201cOn introduction of amendments into some legislative acts of Ukraine as to decentralization of power in sector of architectural-construction control and improvement of city planning legislation\u201d, which will come into force on 1 September 2015.<\/p>\n \n
