A hypothesis about the low efficiency of programs and projects of the cross-border cooperation in Lviv region in comparison with the surrounding provinces of Poland and neighboring regions of Ukraine is highlighted as one of the reasons of low efficiency of the cross-border cooperation (CBC) in the project “Analysis of the policy of the cross-border cooperation in Lviv region” financed by the International Fund “Renaissance”.
The proposed hypothesis requires to answer the following questions:
- What international programs towards the CBC are operating in Lviv region?
- How much money through these programs / projects was involved in Lviv region compared to surrounding provinces of neighboring regions of Poland and Ukraine?
- If there is a financial support of programs / EU projects towards local budgets?
