In Ukraine at the end of May and during June the process of implementing the territorial reform intensified. In each area was established the Office of reforms, which developed long-term plans of the joint of capable territorial communities, numerous meetings and consultations with representatives of local authorities, communities were conducted and sessions of the regional councils, where deputies considered and confirmed different options of long-term plans were held.
In the end at the 30th of June long-term plans were approved by 13 regional councils (Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Chernihiv) and by two civil-military administrations (Donetsk, Lugansk). In two areas long-term plans were approved only partly (Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk).
